Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole is insisting that former Finance Minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala and former President Jonathan stole $700 million out of the Nations Investment pot ( The Sovereign Wealth Fund ) which had generated $1 Billion.
The funds had been a source of controversy in the days of previous government, as governors wanted the funds to be shared among the three tiers of government. This became a running battle between the governors, the Finance Minister and the presidency.
