MY TRIBUTE TO JACKIE COLLINS

One of the world's greatest writers and also one i religiously followed from my teen years Jackie Collin (4 October 1937 – 19 September 2015) was a British American novelist who moved to Los Angeles in the 1960s, where she lived, became a U.S. citizen and spent most of her career. She wrote over 32 books and her books sold over 500 million copies earning her $180 million.
One of the best books i read was written by her "Lucky", about the Mafia Boss Gino Santagelo's daughter and her wild life. Jackie Collins just knew how to capture her audience by bringing her characters to life. I remember in my secondary school days, i would secretly read her novels side by side my school books, it was crazy doing that just thinking about it now.She was at the very top of the food chain and stood tall alongside great writers like Babara Taylor Bradford, Danielle Steel, Sidney Sheldon, Frederick Frosythe and others. Jackie Collins married multiple times and had three daughters, her sister Joan Collins is also a popular actress. She however died of cancer on the 19th of September and is being mourned by many friends and fans. Her family says the funeral will be private.
