September has come, and we are eagerly awaiting the announcement of President Buhari's cabinet and his economic blueprint. Much ado has been made about prominent Nigerians visiting the Presdential villa at this time. Yesterday, professor Chukwuma Soludo and Former Ekiti State Governor Dr Kayode Fayemi visited the villa. They are considered key member of Buhari's economic team and may be made ministers.
Could they have gone for a follow up visit? Professor Soludo had previously said he was not really interested in a full time engagement , because he has several projects he is working on. Dr Fayemi however, was the Head of APC"s economic Directorate a think tank that was involved in drawing up the economic blueprint. Former President Obasanjo and APC National leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu had also visited the Villa recently to ensure their candidate make the Ministerial list.
