Samuel in the Bible heard the voice the first time, and went to Eli saying "Father you called me" Eli sent him back twice till he realized it was the voice of God. The Central Bank is said to be gearing up to rebrand the Naira soon, this information has come from a third source very close to the authorities and in fact i hinted in my write up on September 17 Rebranding of Naira Imminent? .
The Federal Government is said to be insisting on the rebranding of the local currency, a situation the Central Bank Governor ,Mr Godwin Emefiele is said to be very uncomfortable with. He is said to be under intense pressure over the state of the economy , and the President's approach to monetary and fiscal policies. The Presidential order for him to rebrand the naira, some say may lead to his premature resignation from office. The move to rebrand is seen as a way to check mate some very powerful people who have become stupendously rich over the last few years and have questionable , unbankable wealth.I have brought this story to the fore, realizing we may be closer to rebranding our national currency, having heard the voice the third time.
