HAUSA COMMUNITY, OPERATION MESA(OP MESA), ARMY AND SSS NIP PLANNED TERROR ATTACK IN THE BUD IN LAGOS


A Boko Haram suspect has been arrested in Ijora today by  security operatives attached to Operation Mesa (OPMesa) during a raid comprising of the Army and State Security Service (SSS). The suspect (Abdullahi Adamu) was said to have had his picture published in the Aminiya (Hausa Newspaper) last week,which helped becasue residents saw him and tipped off the authorities.
Explosive devises concealed in boxes and two AK47 rifles where found neatly stacked in the roof of a building where he was located.

The suspect was taken to the palace of the paramount ruler, Oba Fatai Aromire Ojora before being whisked away by the operatives.
The leader of the Hausa community, who resides in the area, Ahmed Hamanbade, said the suspect had made some suspicious moves, which attracted the surveillance of some people in the community.
