The President of Afrexim Bank Mr Jean Louis Ekra has said in Cairo today that Nigeria remains the biggest beneficiary from it's loans and projects. He listed some of the projects which the Bank financed in Nigeria to include those of the power sector, oil and gas as well as projects involved in the development of local content.
He said the Banks head office which was being inaugurated today was done by a Nigerian construction firm for $14 million. Afreximbank is a Pan African Finance institution designed to accelerate growth in Africa through trade finance. The Bank recently launched a $500 million Egypt Africa trade promotion programme to leverage economic strength for the country.
