Lagos State Government to commence free medical treatments for retirees
The Lagos State government has over the weekend announced that it will give free medical services to retirees in Lagos state. This was said during the 19th batch Retirement Benefit Bond Certificates presentation
in Lagos, by the Director General of Lagos State Pension LASPEC Mrs Folashade Onanuga, who said the governor had okayed free health care for
retirees. An additional N2.1 billion was paid to 525 retirees. This brings the total number of retirees to have been paid from August 2015 to September 2015 to 1,201 amounting to N4.5 billion.
