Jeffrey Katzenberg has credited Tesla CEO Elon Musk with his survival after a car accident.
The
DreamWorks CEO, who drives a Tesla Model S, needed surgery after
injuring his arm and wrist in the accident in Beverly Hills on October
19.
Less
than a day after being released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center,
Katzenberg arrived at the GLSEN Respect Awards on Friday sporting a
bright pink cast.
Katzenberg and his pink cast are set to make another public appearance
this week as he will be the inaugural recipient of the Sid Grauman Award
at the American Cinematheque’s annual gala.
Katzenberg
will be the first-ever recipient of the award to honor an individual
who has made a significant contribution to the film industry.
He will be presented with the award at the event at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in California’s Century City on Friday.
