Equities depreciate by 0.61%

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization depreciated by 0.61%, at today's trading with the All Share Index closing at 29,828.95 points against the previous close of 30,011.89 points while Market Capitalization closed at N10,251.59 trillion against previous close of N10,314.46 trillion.

With this performance, the Year-to-Date return stood at -13.93%.

The NSE 30 Index decrease by 0.66 per cent from 1,364.84 basis points to 1,355.90 basis points.

The NSE Banking Index depreciates by 0.33 per cent from 319.67 points to 318.62 basis points.

Volume traded increased by 141.87% from 151,698,204.00 million to 366,919,059.00 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 206.71% from ₦1,709 to ₦5,244 billion in  2,976.00 deals with 10 stocks rising, 68 stocks closed flat while 28 others are declining.

WEMABANK Plc. rose by 5.26 per cent or N0.05 to close at N1.00 per share.

WEMABANK, CONTINSURE, AFRIPRUD, DANGSUGAR and BERGER emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while OANDO, OKOMUOIL, PAINTCOM, STANBIC, and CHAMPION topped the losers chart.
