NNPC DENIES CONNIVANCE WITH SECURITY AGENTS TO STEAL NIGERIA'S CRUDE.
According to Ohi Alegbe, the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division NNPC, it is untrue that products especially Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) pumped from Atlas Cove to Mossimi was leaking in Arepo and also no Official of the Pipelines Product and Marketing Company (PPMC) have been found culpable for the leaks. Earlier, the leadership of NNPC had been accused of connivance with Security agent entrusted with protecting the pipelines of aiding crude oil theft by vandals at Arepo. Imported fuel is pumped by PPMC from Atlas Cove Jetty in Lagos to Mossimi depot and it is thereafter distributed to various cities in the South Western parts of Nigeria.
