ARMY PARDONS DISMISSED SOLDIERS, DEPLOYS THEM BACK TO NORTH EAST

The Nigerian army has reabsorbed  3032 soldiers it summarily dismissed last year for refusing to confront Boko Haram terrorist in North East Nigeria.
The soldiers were among the 5,000 dismissed whose cases were being reviewed by the General Officer Commanding 1 Major General Adeniyi Oyebade. The soldiers have been sent to the 7 division of the Nigerian army following the completion of a two week reorientation training programme organised for them at the Nigerian Army training centre Kotangora, Niger State. A panel had been set up to look at the cases of the soldiers in August 2015, and they have been deployed to strengthen the fight against the insurgent.
