BRISTOW HELICOPTER PUSH ROD DICONNECTED BEFORE CRASH-AIB
Remember the Bristow Helicopter crash at Oworonshoki recently? The Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) has said it's push rod was responsible for this. The push rod disconnected and plunged the aircraft into the Lagos Lagoon with 12 people on boards on the 12th August 2015. The AIB Commissioner Dr Felix Abali said that the team of investigators were still putting together the findings of download carried out in the United Kingdom on the flight data and cockpit voice recorders recovered from the crashed chopper .It was gathered that those on board were unable to inflate their life jackets or to deploy the raft which worsened their plight.
