Independence Promo: Bristish Airways slashes fares by 28 percent
British Airways said it has reduced its airfare by 28 per cent for
Nigerian air travellers to mark the forthcoming 55th independence
anniversary.
The airline stated that the discount fare was available for all its
guests travelling from Nigeria to United Kingdom, European countries,
United States of America, USA, and other select destinations across the
world.
The airline hinted that the discount fare is available on its World
Traveller, World Traveller Plus and the award-winning Club World cabins
for outbound travel from Nigeria between Friday, September 18, 2015 and
Sunday, November 29, 2015, adding that the selling period was from
Friday, September 18, 2015 to Friday, September, 25, 2015.
Commenting on the promo fare, the Regional Commercial Manager, West
Africa, British Airways, Mr. Kola Olayinka, disclosed that fares to
London for the celebration start from $425 in World Traveller, $1,055 in
World Traveller plus and $2,855 in Club World for flights to UK
respectively. Olayinka added that flights to Europe and other
destinations start from $525 in World Traveller cabin.
He declared that the fares were available from both Abuja and Lagos
and are exclusive of all taxes, fees, charges and surcharges and subject
to availability, maintaining that the discounted fares still come with
all the benefits of flying with a full-service carrier.
He said “This offer has once again underscored the fact that, the
customer is always at the heart of our business at British Airways.
The discounted fares are in line with our strong market focus of
being pro-actively responsive to customers’ needs, and highlight another
example of British Airways’ commitment to offering more value for money
for its teeming Nigerian customers.
“Congratulations to Nigeria at 55. We all need a strong Nigeria,
Africa and the World needs a strong and prosperous Nigeria to continue
contributing her quota in the committee of Nations.” DailyTimes
