WALE EDUN DROPPED FROM MINISTERIAL LIST
Former commissioner of Finance Lagos state, Mr Wale Edun is said to have been dropped from Presdident Buhari's Ministerial list despite passing the Department of State Security screening exercise.
Wale Edun was being penciled down as the Minister of Finance on President Buhari's list however, he has been dropped from the list due to Former President Obasanjo's disapproval. He was said to have vehemently refused Edun on the premise that Edun's political afiliation and predigree were based on his Lagos stints. He could therefore not be the representative from Ogun State. This is a view also shared by the Ogun state Governor Ibikunle Amosun. This action will be another set back for the Tinubu camp, who already lost the top position in the National assembly leadership election. The Jagaban of Borgu recently visited Aso Rock in company of Chief Bisi Akande to follow up on his ministerial nominees shortly after President Obasanjo.
