FORTE OIL BEGINS SALE OF KEROSENE AT N50
The revolution in the petroleum downstream sector may have begun with Forte oil bucking the trend by selling it's stock of kerosene tagged " Buhari Kerosene" for N50. This is in line with the Federal government's directive to be made available at the subsidized price. Prior to this development NNPC imports and sells kerosene at an ex-depot of N40.90 for marketers to resell at N50 at the pump, but the marketers sell for N120- N140. Many other marketers too are conforming with the price reduction at the pump.

It is hoped that with "Buharism" epidemic, this will be sustained, especially as it had happened like this before, but was returned to "business as usual".

What has actually happened is that the marketers all have come to the realization that the fear of Buhari is the beginning of wisdom. They will comply.
