SSS Tsunami ravages Former President Jonathan's Chief Security Officer- Gordon Obua.
Former Nigerian President Jonathan's Chief Security Officer ((CSO) Obua was also affected in the heavy shake up which affected 44 directors of the State security service (SSS).Obua was alledgedly dismissed from service for involvement in oil deals, corrupt practises and playing partisan roles inimical to service codes.Security sources say Mr. Obua’s explanation on the alleged $6.9 deal and oil bunkering did not satisfy the investigative panel. The panel therefore recommended them for dismissal. A former spokesperson of the service, Marilyn Ogar, former President Muhammadu Buhari’s CSO, Abdulrahman Mani and one Adamu, the former CSO to former DG, Ita Ekpenyong, also featured prominently in the list of personnel compulsorily retired. In July,Obus was rumoured to have passed away in the custody of the service after he was detained on allegations of corruption and partisanship. He was however released a few days after his lawyer raised the alarm of his failing health.
