GOV OSHIOMOLE SACKS COMMISSIONERS.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole has announced the termination of appointments of four commissioners, a statement signed by Kassim Afegbua, the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, has said. The affected commissioners are Chief Lucky James (Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs), Mrs Maigida Blessing (Women Affairs), Mr Patrick Aguinede (Basic Education) and Mr Chris Ebare (Energy and Water Resources). Although no reason was given for their sack, the statement expressed the governor’s appreciation to the former commissioners for their services to the state and wished them well in their future endeavours. The statement directed the former commissioners to handover all government property in their possession to the Permanent Secretaries in their respective ministries.
