Equities depreciate by 0.17%

 
The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization depreciated by 0.17%, at today's trading with the All Share Index closing at 27,697.12 points against the previous close of 27,743.92 points while Market Capitalization closed at N9,522.89 trillion against previous close of N9,538.98 trillion.

With this performance, the Year-to-Date return stood at -20.08%.

The NSE 30 Index decrease by 0.26 per cent from 1,247.22 basis points to 1,243.92 basis points.

The NSE Banking Index depreciates by 1.53 per cent from 289.31 points to 284.88 basis points.

Volume traded decreased by 17.84% from 203,819,277.00 million to 167,466,952.00 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 15.53% from ₦2,750 to ₦2,323 billion in 2,625.00 deals with 24 stocks rising, while 20 others are declining.

GUINNESS Plc. rose by 5.00 per cent or N6.00 to close at N126.00 per share.

GUINNESS, ETERNA, CUTIX, HONYFLOUR, and FCMB emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while TIGERBRANDS, FIDSON, VONO, UNITYBNK, and LEARNAFRCA topped the losers chart.
