The Kaduna State governor, Mallam El-Rufai has declared a state of emergency in the Education sector in the state. He said education is a key part of his administration. He made this declaration during the independence celebrations saying, he would provide free basic education in decent schools and ensure there are skilled teachers as one of the priorities of his administration over its four year term.
