Equities depreciate by 0.57 percent


The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization depreciated by 0.57%, at today's trading with the All Share Index closing at 30,058.40 points against the previous close of 30,231.16 points while Market Capitalization closed at ₦10,330.45 trillion against previous close of ₦10,389.82 trillion.

With this performance, the Year-to-Date return stood at -12.77%.

The NSE 30 Index decline by 0.48 per cent from 1,372.13 basis points to 1,365.52 basis points.

The NSE Banking Index also appreciates by 0.62 per cent from 315.99 points to 317.96 basis points.

Volume traded decreased by 7.71% from 134,616,607.00 million to 124,242,610.00 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 6.63% from ₦1,475 to ₦1,377 billion in 2,930.00 deals with 23 stocks rising, 59 stocks closed flat while 24 others are declining.

ETERNA Plc. rose by 5.00 per cent or N0.09 to close at N1.89 per share.

ETERNA, OKOMUOIL, BERGER, MANSARD and EVANSMED emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while CUTIX, HONYFLOUR, LEARNAFRCA, NEM, and FLOURMILL topped the losers chart.
