Hosts of ISIS Emir Arrested in Kano

The Nigerian Immigration Service NIM has explained that it did not play any role in issuing a Nigerian visa to ISIS chief Ahmed Al Assir who was scheduled to visit Nigeria. They explained that the Foreign service also has the power to issue visas on their behalf and may have done so. The Comptroller General of the NIS, Martin Abeshi yesterday debunked the insinuation that the NIS was behind the Visas and also said they have arrested the individuals who were to host Al Assir and handed them over to the National Security Adviser, General Babangida Monguno.
The men were arrested by the NIS in Kano State. Al Assir, who is known as the ISIS Emir, is on the most wanted list of the top security agencies around the world.
